Socks4Life {Review & Giveaway}

Socks-4-Life 013

Hello my friends!  I hope everyone had a great weekend! My weekend was nice.  I am officially addicted to watching 24.  I never watched the show when it was on the air and I think it’s better this way.  I can watch 5 episodes at a time on Netflix. Lol! The suspense would KILL me if I had to wait an entire week to see what happens next.  Did anyone out there watch 24?

Anyway, the fabulous folks at Socks4Life recently sent me a shipment of fun socks to review.  Woohooo!  I was able to select a few pairs of complimentary socks from the Socks4Life website.  Choosing was TOUGH because there were soooo many options… tons of colors and patterns… knee socks, ankle socks, and thigh-high socks.  They’ve even got legwarmers.  I was also very excited that they had diabetic socks because my dad happens to be a diabetic,and I know how important proper foot care is for diabetics. At $29.95 for 12 pairs, I am definitely planning on order some of those for him.  Along with an incredible selection, they’ve also got GREAT prices!  Their prices range from about $4 for individual pairs of knee-high socks to $15 for a 3 pack.  You can also get individual pairs of thigh-high socks for about $8 each, or a 3-pack of patterned or solid crew socks for about $9.  Here are the socks I chose to review…

Yelete Plaid Over The Knee Socks – $7.95

Chattie’s Women’s Argyle Knee Socks – $9.95/ 3-pack

Chattie’s Women’s Pattern Crew Socks in “Tan Flower & Green Argyle” – $8.95/ 3-pack

I kinda love argyle socks so I couldn’t pass those up. LOL! It was just a matter of choosing a color.  Pink and gray seemed like a good choice.  I also kind of have a thing for striped socks and I loved the tan with red striped crew socks.  The 3-pack came with a pair of argyle socks and a pair of floral socks.  I don’t own any floral socks so that worked out well.  I think it’s great that the variety packs are truly different styles of socks, rather than the same style in different colors.  This was also the case with the 3-pack of argyle knee socks, which came in three completely different argyle patterns.  Lastly, I had to get at least one pair of over-the-knee socks and I thought a plaid gray and blue pair would be fun.  I have generally always stuck with solids for over-the knee socks, so I stepped out of my comfort zone a little.  Any styling suggestions?

So, last week I gave my new socks a whirl with the tan and red socks (a part of the “Tan Floral and Green Argyle” 3-pack).  I think these are officially my favorite pair of the bunch.  Aren’t they cute? Stripes are just very versatile, and the tan/red colorway is so neutral. These socks can be paired with a number of pumps and sandals if you’re into the socks + heels thing. I love how they look peeking out of my Sam Edelman granny boots!  If you’re not a socks + heels kinda gal, I think they’d also look awesome paired with oxfords for a cool menswear-inspired vibe.

    Hey! Jack Bauer rocks! I thought of starting a bring Jack back petition, lol! On Monday nights we'd all log into fb and comment @ Jack! Man I miss those days. I am gonna have to go back this summer and watch it. I missed a part of one season when I was in cosmetology class. Boy when we got out early I'd be about to get a ticket trying to make it home. My mom stopped watching it. She said it was making her blood pressure rise, lol!

    I love argyle socks. My stepdaughter wears them with her uniform skirts to school atleast once a week! We racked up at Walmart! I love the Julietta Skinny Striped Knee Socks. I think I'd rock the lime green and black with some black shorts, a white shirt and a cardigan! If it was wacky day at school (I am a teacher) I"d do the whole "black and yellow" theme and , but I gotta have the white multi-colored ones that are featured! I don't think you're ever to old to rock some socks:)

  8. Tweet, tweet, tweet:) Just added a new post to twitter @caramelnaps25:) Yep, I am serious about these socks, lol!
