Nothing Special, Part 3: Colorful Stripes & Gold Chains
You guys don’t seem to mind my “Nothing Special” posts, and that is a good thing! Even though, I am not running around like a crazy person anymore, I am still not 100% caught up with day to day life. You know the feeling–you just feel like you’re scrambling to keep up, and all you wanna do is sit, and do nothing, but then you see that pile of laundry, or that sink full of dirty dishes, and you feel guilty. That’s kinda where I am right now. Hence, the repeat denim + sweater outfits. It’s warm, it’s practical, and it requires little or no thought in the morning. I guess this is why it’s important to have special basics in your closet. Hot pink jeans, harem jeans, colorful striped sweaters, and bright pumps keep your go-to outfits from getting too boring, right? Hopefully, I’ll be feeling a little more spunky soon!

So, I don’t know if you’ve noticed I’ve been wearing jeans from Wet Seal. You guys, I haven’t shopped in Wet Seal since Middle School. LOL. But, when I was in San Diego, I decided to stop in and check out their skinny jean selection. I just happen to notice that teeny-bopper stores (as my mom would call them), have the best price on SUPER skinny jeans…the kind that hug your ankles. LOL! I just find that these are best for tucking into boots…especially booties and ankle boots, because there is no room for stuffing. I know what you’re thinking… Eboni, just get jeggings. But, I didn’t want jeggings, I wanted jeans…because they are thicker. Like I mentioned in my post about my new leopard jeans, I do have to size up to a 9 when I buy clothes from junior stores, but I don’t mind. I could care less about the number on the tag, if the clothes look good. This particular jean — the Uptown Skinny, is just a great fit for me and they were only $19.99. I got them in two colors. You guys also saw them here.

My little play sis used to work at Wet Seal and I love the short length skinny jeans that they carry! The ones at other places say short length, but they are still too long! Argh. Your brows are fab! Love them. I think I am subscribed througth googler reader, but I do have some other subscriptions through GFC, gotta check them out!
I don't like such massive chains, but I adore your boots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are tremendous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
