Sporty chic, Part 2: Harem Jeans? Denim Sweats?

Alright, so as I was editing these pictures, I realized that I associate sporty with stripes, bright pumps, and utility/military inspired pieces…oh and don’t forget leopard (not sure how that made the sporty cut!). LOL! See Sporty Chic, part 1.  What is that? LOL!

H&M Anorak circa 2010 (similar w/ detachable hood) | Old Navy Sweater circa 2010 | H&M Jeans (in stores now) | Steve Madden Pumps circa 2009 (similar here and here) | Clutch c/o Jennifer Lovena | Vintage Gold Link Chain via Something Old, Something New | Xhileration Earrings

So, I can finally reveal the details about my cute, cute, leopard clutch that you guys saw in my last sporty chic post, and also here and here.  It was a very special gift from my girl Jennifer, and she has a brilliant little shop on Etsy full of animal printed delights.  I couldn’t tell you the details before because the collection hadn’t launched yet… my bag is actually a sample. I was honored when she asked me to check out her collection, and give her feedback… just consider me a one-woman focus group with an expertise in all things leopard print LOL.  Anyway, please do check the Jennifer Lovena collection on Etsy.  Her bags are impeccably made. I’ll be doing an up-close-and-personal review soon with lots of close-up shots, and an interview with Miss Jennifer!

I haven’t shared any of Fab’s fun comments on my wardrobe lately.  When I bought these pants, I knew he wouldn’t approve.  I tried to put them on all willy nilly, and walked by him in the room to see if he noticed. His first response. LAUGHTER. Then Silence. Then “why do you insist upon wearing mom jeans?” Ladies, these are far from mom jeans, right??? They are harem jeans? or maybe they are denim sweats? I don’t know… but definitely not “mom jeans.”  (and what’s this about insisting…as if I wear mom jeans every day. LOL!) Anyway, I’d like to think that if Jeannie wore jeans, these are the ones she would have worn. hmph!  Oh well, I knew I had it coming…I will stand behind these jeans, though. I happen to love them. LOL

Thanks for stopping by! XOXO.
