Hana Titanium Flat Iron Review

So, ladies…you may have noticed my hair was straight again.  The folks at Misikko offered to send me a 1.5″  Hana Titanium Flat Iron, which I’ve heard is the Best Flat Iron on the market.  Needless to say, I was very excited to give it a try, and there seemed no better time than my birthday!

I actually received my flat iron a couple weeks ago, and it was a treat in and of itself.  Just check out the packaging! I didn’t even wanna unwrap everything! Lol! and they threw in some beauty goodies, too!

So, I started with a shampoo, an Aphogee 2-Minute Reconstructor, a clear rinse, and a Jessicurl Deep Conditioning Treatment.  Next, I air-dried and spritzed my entire mane with Turn Up the Heat heat protectant spray before flat ironing in small sections.  It took me about 45 minutes to get through my entire head, and I have to say I love, love, love my new flat iron!  The plates are super smooth, and they just glided down each section of my hair.  The only thing that could have made made it better was a good trim…

My ends are still a hot mess, so bone straight was not an option, although I did cut just under two inches once my hair was straight.  I have decided to go ahead and do a real cut, guys. *sigh*  I will be making an appointment for next month.  So, now to decide…layers or no layers?

Have you tried a Hana Titanium Flat Iron? or any of the Hana Flat Irons?

Thanks for stopping by!! XOXO.

OMG they sent me one to review and I was amazed also! I just used it on my friend who is natural and she was like "so…where'd you get this iron, I'm impressed" I love it! I was hype to hear that you do clear rinses also. That bantu knot out at the end is perfection!!!

Layers! When you wear it curly it will lay nicely and not be too bulky on the ends. I have that problem with my hair now, I need to cut a few layers into it. I really need a new flat iron, I am so afraid to flat iron my hair with the one I have because it tugs at my hair (fail). Your hair looks so pretty every way you wear it! It's so great having options isn't it? xo, Rita

    • I was really impressed with this one. It\’s worth checking out!

When my hair is semi-dry, I brush all the curls out with a denman brush and secure it into a loose bun to sleep. This stretches my hair and smooths my roots for straightening without blowdrying!

How did you get your hair curly like that?? love it

    • Hey Vanessa!! I use the clipless curling iron technique, but with a regular curling iron. With the clip of the curling iron closed, I just wrap 1" sections of my hair around the barrel of my curling iron. Hold for a few seconds and release. It works beautifully every time!
