I Did It…I’m a Julep Maven! (a Monthly Nail Polish Subscription Club)

Yes, I did it…I joined another monthly subscription service…although my biggest weakness Sole Society eliminated their monthly fee, so I’m not sure they really count anymore…I’ve still got Jewelmint, Stylemint, and Birch Box. Lol! Don’t worry, I’m really good at logging in the 1st and skipping a month if I can’t afford it.

Anyway, my girls Rocquelle and Jennifer are both major nail polish gurus, and they both love Julep Maven.  They’ve both been blogging about Julep for several months now, and I finally took the plunge because I was able to get the welcome box for only $0.01 with promo code COLORS4ONE.  Seriously, I trust these ladies when it comes to nail care (and if you don’t already follow Jennifer’s blog, The Fab Fatale, please do! She does a new manicure tutorial every Monday!)

So, just like the other monthly subscription clubs, you take a quiz so they can identify your style.  Every month, they’ll create a box based on your style with a few products in it…but here’s something a little different! They actually send you a preview email on the 20th of the month letting you know what’s going to be in your box and if you don’t like it, you can swap the products out…isn’t that cool?  Of course, you can also choose to skip the month completely, or you can even opt to send your box to someone else.  And, you can also add to the box if you’d like to try an additional color…or two!

My welcome box came with Julep Maven’s “The Best Pedi Creme Ever” and two polishes — “Susie,” a mint color, and “Niecy,” summery bright pink color.  I can’t wait to try them both! These three products retail for a total of $50 (pedi creme, $22 and polish $14 each).  Again, I got my welcome box for $0.01, but the normal monthly membership fee is $19.99, so it’s a great value…especially if you are one who already purchases more expensive nail polish on a regular basis.  Julep guarantees that you’ll get at least $40 worth of products in every box, which will always include at least two nail polishes.  Oh, and Julep nail polishes are free of yucky toxins…no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, or DBP…and they come in a variety of GORGEOUS and on-trend colors.

Sorry, I should have taken the plastic off. LOL!

I’m looking forward to my monthly picks from Julep.  I am so inconsistent with my nail care.  I admire people who take the time to change their polish several times a week to match their outfit…I wanna be that person. LOL! I always get more inspired to keep my nails polished when the weather heats up…Anyway, you can join Julep Maven here, if you’re interested…and don’t forget promo code COLORS4ONE to get your welcome box for a penny.

Are you a Julep Maven? How’s your experience been so far?
