Style Me Friday: Inspired by Christina Milian
Happy Friday!! I am so sleepy! I stayed up ’til 2 am straightening my hair and doing my nails…ugh! Okay, no actually, I was finished with my hair at midnight, but Fab decided he wanted to watch a movie when I was finished. I should have known better! Fab always starts a movie late at night and falls asleep! I, on the other hand, can’t fall asleep once I get all into the movie. So, I end up staying up ’til the end, while he gets his beauty rest. *side eye*. I fall for the okie-doke every time. Lol!
Anyway, today’s Style Me Friday was submitted by reader Ramona! (Thanks, girl!) It’s a great neon-color blocking look worn by Christina Milian on the cover of Denim Magazine (beware, the Denim Magazine plays music automatically upon entering…I really hate that!). This one was a no brainer for me! You all know I love color blocking, and I don’t mind a little neon, either.
So, I know what you’re thinking…didn’t she wear those jeans yesterday? Mmm hmm, I sure did! Don’t judge me. Lol! I just totally forgot that I’d planned on wearing them for Style Me Friday, and I didn’t feel like thinking up a whole new look yesterday, sooooo here I am. hehe! I actually do have a pair of cobalt blue jeans that I could have worn in place of Christina’s trousers, and a neon yellow blouse…but, I actually prefer the style of this blouse. The neon blouse has a ruffle sleeve, and I just didn’t think they projected the look I was going for. So, I wore yellow on the bottom and blue on top, instead. I finished off the look with white shoes and bag, and a silver bangle.

We love the unexpected colorblocking here. There's so much that you can do with those neon capris! Isn't it exciting to find inspiration when you least expect it? The strappy shoes & embellished bag are the perfect touches to recreate a glamorous celebrity-inspired look!
