I. AM. SO. SLEEPY.
So, I didn’t write a new for post yesterday because Monday night my brain just wasn’t having it. And last night, I had plans that didn’t get me home until almost midnight so that wasn’t happening either. So, this morning I woke up two hours early to get a post up because I didn’t want to skip posting two days in a row, but my eyeballs are rebelling on me. I’m typing with one eye open…I swear. Lol! Why am I soooo tired?
Anyway, this is what I wore Saturday to the model call I hosted with The Baby Shopaholic and Oh! Nikka for the 5th Annual CBWW Family Health & Beauty Expo fashion show we’ve got coming up on November 3rd. More details are too come, but if you’re in Atlanta, please SAVE THE DATE!!!
Old Tee (similar, $30 and here, $18 on sale) | Wallis Stone Floral Panel Pant ($18 on sale) | “Sandra” Sandal by Sole Society ($50, other colors available) | Target Necklace ($18) | C. Wonder Earrings (check in-store or similar here, $38)
These pants (and a leopard pencil skirt) were my first purchases from the latest UK brand to catch my attention — Wallis. What is it about those Euro brands? They really know how to do high street fashion, and more and more of them are launching e-commerce in the US. Wallis has an awesome selection of on-trend dresses, separates, outerwear…you name it! And the price point is similar to that of a Zara with most items falling in that $50 – $100 range, and a few really special pieces over $100. I got these pants on sale for $18 (regular price was $70), and my leopard print pencil skirt was regularly priced at $52. Unfortunately, I think it’s sold out now, but it is TheBomb.com. You’ll definitely be seeing it soon! Oh, and Wallis has free shipping over $30, which basically means if you buy one regular priced item, you won’t be paying for shipping, and because they’re based in the UK with no physical presence in the US, there is no sales tax – BOOM! Not bad at all!
So, this red lip + black rimmed eye look has been my go-to beauty look lately. Danielle tells me I must start sharing my makeup deets, even if I do feel like a complete novice compared to the real beauty bloggers,
so stay tuned for second post on that. (beauty post is up here!) We’ll try it out and you guys can let me know what you think…
Have you checked out Wallis? Do you shop international brands and retailers?
