Coast to Coast Cool: C&C California Tuxedo Stripe Leggings
Happy Monday! How was your weekend?
Mine started off busy and ended on a lazy note…just the way I like it! Lol. Saturday, I started my day meeting with the lovely V of Grit and Glamour for breakfast! This wasn’t in my original plan for the day, but when I saw her mention she was in Atlanta on Instagram, I had to hit her up and see if she was available to meet. She’s been on my list of bloggers to meet for a LONG time! And, let me tell you, she is just as stunning in person as you might expect from her gorgeous blog photos. After breakfast, I headed over to Atlantic Station to meet up with Lexi of Lexi With the Curls at the Make Up For Ever Makeup Bag Remix , a fun event where you were invited to bring your makeup bag and get a complimentary lesson on how to use your most daunting products…pretty cool, right? Our friend Danni also joined us at Make Up For Ever, and we were done there, the three of us headed to lunch at Yard House! And finally, from there, Lexi and I headed to Perimeter Mall for a FULL DAY of shopping! No lie – we shut the mall down…and we still stopped at Lenox on the way home! Hehe!! Technically, we were shopping for Lexi, but I told her I was still surprised she could hang with me. Usually, people tire out long before I’ve had my shopping fill, and for that reason, I generally shop ALONE…or with my mom. She might be the only person I know that can out shop me. Lol! So take note, if you ever go shopping with me or my mom, it is highly recommended that you bring your own car!
Anyway, these pictures were actually taken last Thursday. I took the day off so I wouldn’t be rushed and stressed getting ready for my event with bebe. Good call, too! Because, I needed to run out to Target and buy some accessories to complete the winning look! I’d actually just received these tuxedo stripe leggings as a gift from C&C California. They were one of the booths at LuckyFabb back in September, and all of us bloggers who attended got to select a piece or two show off on our blogs as an entry in their “Coast to Coast Cool” contest. It took a couple months to receive my gift, but it was certainly worth it! I love these leggings. They are right on trend with the tuxedo stripe, super soft, and most importantly, they stay put! Lord knows I hate when my leggings start creeping down my waist throughout the day!
For my contest entry, I went for the ultimate cool girl look, pairing my leggings with spiked wedge sneakers, a crisp white blouse, and a leather blazer. And for a pop of color, I added hot pink lips and a hot pink bag. BOOM!
