Motions Holiday Hair Meetup!
I had another busy weekend…I am sure you can all relate…the holiday season is full of festive soirees and shindigs. My buddy Danielle is in town from New York and whenever she comes to Atlanta, she partners up with our very own Lexi with the Curls for a fun hair event. Both Lexi and Danielle are ambassadors for Motions, and they hosted a Holiday Hair Meetup at Twist.
It was a fun time…great people, great conversation and great food! We all shared our hair stories and talked about our holiday hair plans. Since I’m still riding high on my new haircut, I’ll probably just keep the wash ‘n go going for most events, and throw a messy top knot in here and there.
I wanted to go for a festive, yet casual look for the event because Danielle and I were planning on hitting the mall afterwards (naturally!). So, I wore an oversized heather gray v-neck sweater over my black sequin mini, and finished the look off with my ShoeDazzle “Alice” over-the-knee boots. Love these boots, y’all!
What are your go-to holiday hairstyles?
I'm excited to experiment with my hair for the holidays since I still have my Senegalese twists in. I'll probably keep it pretty chill for Christmas but try some crazy updo for NYE, we'll see what happens! Oh, and loooove those boots!

I'll wear my short curly crop as I usually do because it's easy to take care of. I like Motion products but right now I'm on an Argan Oil kick. I have bought almost everyone of their hair products. I do want to tell you that the Blow dryer smoothing kit by Garnier worked great for me. My curls are smooth and less frizzey.
ooh! Thanks for the tip on the blowdryer smoothing kit…I'll have to check it out. And, yes…people swear by Argan Oil!
