Style Me Friday: Daytime Sparkle {It’s a Link Up!}
Happy Friday!!! I have a special announcement to make…I’m moving!!! Yay!! Some of you know that since I moved to Atlanta I’ve been lamenting about how spread apart everything is and how I live in the boonies! Seriously, it takes me a good 40 minutes to get everywhere except Atlantic Station, which takes 30 minutes. Apparently that is normal here??? Well, let me tell you, I’m really not about that suburban-drive-into-the-city-just-t-get-a-good-meal life. I’m a city girl! And yes, after living in LA forever, I am used to spending a lot of time in my car, but good grief! I need all my essentials to be within 10 minutes. The nearest mall should NOT be 30 minutes away….I need corner stores…and blocks…and sidewalks…and a freeway entrance within 2 miles without driving through 20 minutes of forest! Lol! I realize that a lot of this stuff is just not the Georgia way of life…and interestingly enough, Fab is not about that city life, so we had to find a good happy medium…and we chose Smyrna! Yay!! For me, it has just enough of what I call “modern conveniences”…good shopping, good restaurants, and all that jazz….and it’s about 15 minutes to “the city,” and for Fab it is not right in the middle of the madness that is Midtown or Buckhead. So anyway, I’m telling you guys all this as a warning…I am totally preoccupied with all things home décor right now! Please don’t be surprised if you start seeing interior design posts…I’m trying to settle on colors and furniture, and I am so freakin’ indecisive…I might need some help! Stay tuned…
Anyway, on to Style Me Friday…today’s look was all about daytime sparkle! Our inspiration came from Jenna Lyons in a cute pair of sequined pants and a classic striped tee. Now, I happened to have a pair of sequined pants, so I was able to recreate the look quite literally, but on Monday, I told you guys that the pants were totally not the point! You could style any sequined item in your close to recreate the look. The inspiration wasn’t about sequined pants; it was about styling sequins for day.

Congrats on the move closer to the city! I grew up in the boonies, but quickly realized I'm more of a city girl. When we were looking for a place, hub's first question was always, "Where's the nearest grocery store?" If it was more than a few minutes away, he was NOT feeling it, lol.
