Style Me Friday Inspiration, Week 9: Playing with Proportions {Link Up This Friday!}
Happy Tuesday!! Sorry this week’s Style Me Friday inspiration look is a day late. I couldn’t decide on a look yesterday. This morning, I logged on to Pinterest again this morning, and there it was — the perfect Style Me Friday look submitted by Von Davis. At first glance, you might think “well, what’s so special about that look?” and my answer would be “EXACTLY!” It is a blank canvas really, but what caught my eye was the proportion play…the over-sized sweater, cinched in at the waist with the tails of another over-sized shirt peeking out, and topping slim jeans and tall boots. It creates a very flattering silhouette! So, if you’re participating in this week’s challenge, keep in mind that this look isn’t necessarily about the colors or finding exact lookalikes for the pieces in the inspiration look. It’s all about the silhouette and the proportion play! Have fun with it…
