Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty awesome. I didn’t do ANYTHING on my to-do list, but I did do something extremely important —REST! Since my job has been a major life-sucker lately, my weekends have been spent catching up on all the things I don’t have time to do during the week. But, this weekend I allowed myself to just let it go. Fab and I did do some light cleaning Saturday morning, but in the afternoon we went out to the food truck park on Howell Mill Rd, followed by late night bowling. Then, Sunday, we spent a couple hours at the pool, followed by manis and pedis, and an early dinner at Bone Lick BBQ. By the way, if you like collard greens, you need to make your way down to Bone Lick! Their greens were sooooooooo good! I mean, I didn’t have to put any hot sauce, or vinegar, or salt, or anything on them. They were seasoned to perfection…and so were the baked beans…and of course, the meats were good, too….but, I love my sides!
So, anyway, this look was something I threw on last Friday to run out for dinner after work. It’s totally a stereotypical fashion blogger outfit, isn’t it? Gladiator heels? Check. Leather shorts? Check. Half-tucked slouchy tank? Check. Chambray Shirt? Check. Mirrored Sunnies? Check. Top Knot? Check. Check. Check. Lol! I might as well be wearing a t-shirt that says, “Hi. I’m a fashion blogger.”

Okay, so lately I’ve been on a bit of a jewelry kick, and I’ve been living on BaubleBar. They have so many amazing statement pieces at very affordable prices. I mean, their jewelry is not cheap by any means, but it’s also not expensive. Honestly, you’re just not going to find such intricate, high-end looking pieces at a better price anywhere else. These earrings are a perfect example. At $32, they aren’t cheap, but they look so much more expensive than they are, right?
Also, the wonderful people at Case-Mate sent me a bunch of fun cases for my phone. I’ve been loving my artsy “Bo” elephant print case…you’ve probably seen it on Instagram a few times, but I had to switch it up because this Silver Pearls case actually matches my earrings!!! See those exclamation points? That’s how excited I was about matching my phone to my earrings. Don’t judge. Seriously, this case is so luxe and pretty…it’s actually made from genuine mother of pearl. Needless to say, I love it
