So, what do you guys think? Do flare jeans ever really go completely out of style? Honestly, I don’t think so. I think there are times when they are definitely considered “on trend” but they’re just so dang flattering on some women (like me), that they just ever stop wearing them. What I do think comes in and out of style is the size of the leg opening. We see the flare go from a full on bell bottom to a more subtle “modern” flare, and everything in between, but they never really go away.
I personally LOVE flare leg legs, so whenever they are “trending,” I try to pick up a couple pairs because it can be hard to find your perfect fit when they aren’t in the top trend category. Flares were really having a moment a couple seasons ago, and I scooped these up at Old Navy on clearance. I only wish I had bought them in the darker wash, too!
And, how pretty is this Aeropostale top? I mentioned a few weeks ago, that I recently joined the Aeropostale VIP family. As a VIP, I get to go to special events and receive insider info on new releases…and of course there are clothing perks! When they launched their fall collection, they graciously gifted their VIPs with a gift card to pick up a few new pieces. This top (and actually the sweater, too) were some of the things I bought. I instantly fell in love with the crochet lace detail when I saw it on the hanger…and when I tried it on, I knew I had to have it!
One of the things that I love about these jeans is how LONG they are! They make my legs go on for days…and y’all know I’m short! Or, actually maybe you don’t know that. Now that I think about it, every time I meet someone who reads my blog, the first thing they always say is “you shorter than I expected.” Lol! In case you were wondering, I am only 5’4″ and barely that. But, I love in heels! So, anyway, these jeans are by far the longest pair I own, and these shoes are basically the ONLY shoes I can wear with them. I need every single inch! So, I guess as long as I have these jeans, these shoes will also have a place in my closet.
Thanks for stopping by! XOXO.
