Fit Style to City Style with Athleta City Pants

I’m super excited to be partnering with my friends at Athleta for another fun styling challenge with their line of super versatile City Pants.  There are a few different styles to choose from… I went with the Aspire Ankle Pant because I loved the drawstring and ruching at the ankle — perfect with a cute pair of strappy heels.

Okay, so before we get into the look, can I just tell you guys how comfortable these pants are?   I mean, they kinda feel like you’re not even wearing pants…in a good way. Lol! They have a wide elastic waistband that doesn’t pinch or dig into your waist, and the fabric is extremely lightweight and breathable.  They are totally appropriate for the gym because of the comfort factor and fabrication, but as you can see they transition beautifully to wherever else life may take you.  Plus, sporty looks and slouchy pants are right on trend for spring, so why not let your “gym clothes” work double-time as street clothes?

Thank the good Lord for this hat, because OMG! I’ve been working out 4 days a week, and the struggle with this hair is oh-so-real! My wash ‘n go usually lasts about a week, but my every other day gym sessions have brought that down to about two days. (sigh.)  And, since it generally takes a full day for me to wash my hair and let it air dry, I’m sure you can imagine how managing my mane has gotten just a little bit difficult during the week…but, that’s another post for another day.  In the meantime,  I think I need to step my hat game up. Lol!

First of all your poses are adorable! Secondly, you had better get out that diffuser to dry those natural curls! I'm kidding! It's hard keeping your hair together when you're working out. You look adorable and I really like the pants.

  8. These individual clothing pieces are very cute but when put all together as seen in these pictures, they don't gel well. The clothes might be comfortable but you can't wear comfortable clothes with heels and so much jewellery? The whole outfit doesn't work well together. The comfortable clothes and the cap could be worn for exercising. The heels, comfortable clothes and jewellery without the cap could be worn for going out. The idea is cute but the whole outfit is too much and paired with the wrong items. Just a fashion tip on how to utilize such awesome fashion items.
